Pine Cliff Resort was originally known as Seymour's Pine Cliff Lodge and began as a tourist lodge in 1947. Established by Frank Seymour, the lodge consisted of a main lodge, 16 cottages with electricity and running water, washroom and shower house, and small engine repair shop.
Between 1957 and 1970, the lodge changed hands a few times until it was purchased by Mr. and Mrs. Taylor who renamed the lodge Pine Cliff Lodge and added camping sites to the property. In 1985, Brian and Patti Allingham purchased the property, along with the original lodge and 16 cottages. It was the Allinghams who renamed the property Pine Cliff Resort and were instrumental in making the resorty what it is today.
Cottages
Pine Cliff Resort offers two, three, and four bedroom cottages with full kitchen and sleeping facilities as well as a 3 or 4-piece bathroom. The cottages also come complete with bed linens, pillows and blankets, cooking utensils, small appliances, a microwave, electric fridge, stove, and satellite television.
Outside, each cottage is accompanied by an outdoor fire pit where you can build bonfires, enjoy the warmth with a loved one, and/or roast marshmallows with friends and family. Picnic tables allow you to enjoy meals down by the water. The cottages are available year-round with July and August available on a weekly basis.
Campsites
From May until October, Pine Cliff Resort offers approximately 80 seasonal campsites and 20 overnight RV sites. These camping sites are large, level, and are all equipped with a campfire pit, picnic table, and 30 amp electric service. Some sites offer electric, sewer and water or electric and water only.
Overnight camping guests are welcome to enjoy all amenities offered by Pine Cliff Resort. A restroom with hot showers and flush toilets is open at all times. Guests are able to enjoy the sandy beach, water trampoline, basketball court, shuffleboard court, beach cabanas and, available upon request, spa and massage services in the spa room.
